Where does Thrive Life’s food come from?
We work hard to find the best tasting food on the planet! We only work with suppliers who meet our high standards of food quality and taste, and we don’t source from countries with controversial farming practices.
Is Thrive Life’s facility USDA and FDA approved?
Our production facility is a site to behold! We are a globally recognized Safe Quality Foods (SQF) facility. Food quality and safety is at the top of our priority list, and we conform to a rigorous safety and auditing standard. We are certified by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Food & Drug Administration (FDA), which means our facility and products are frequently monitored by these agencies. Our facility is also certified Gluten Free, Organic, and will soon be certified Kosher.
What is Nutrilock?
Our Nutrilock certified products go through an over 40-step, proprietary process. These steps start at the farm, ensuring no genetically modified seeds or crops are used. Our foods are always allowed to grow until fully ripened, leaving the maximum amount of time needed for flavor and nutrition development. From there, Nutrilock products are flash frozen within hours and freeze dried in our world class freeze drying facility. Is Thrive Life’s food organic?
Thrive Life has a few products that are certified organic. Our other products are conventionally grown but follow a strict growing, production and quality standard. Products that are Nutrilock certified meet many of the qualifications of organic like avoiding GMOs, artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. Our produce is thoroughly washed to remove fertilizers and pesticides and is often higher in nutrient content than organic products due to our Nutrilock growing and freeze dry practices.
Are Thrive Life’s foods gluten free?
Many of our products are gluten free as a result of being a single whole food, like Strawberries, Chopped Chicken, or Onion Slices. All gluten-free products are packaged in separate gluten-free rooms to avoid cross-contamination. We are a certified gluten-free facility, and all products that are certified gluten-free have a gluten-free symbol on the product label and online product page.
Can families with allergies and special dietary needs eat Thrive Life’s food?
Yes, and it’s easy to find products your family will love! On our site, you can search for products by allergy or diet. We also suggest reading all product labels before purchasing. Please note that our allergen-free foods are processed in the same facility as foods that contain gluten, dairy, soy, coconuts, and other food allergens. Our machinery, tools, tables, and work spaces are thoroughly cleaned and sterilized before each new production run. However, in the interest of the safety of those who have serious food sensitivities, Thrive Life cannot guarantee that trace amounts of allergens will not be present.
How long does your freeze dried food last?
With our innovative freeze drying process, we remove almost all water and lock in nutrients, which means Thrive foods will stay fresh for a very long time! Shelf life varies depending on storage conditions. Simple Plate meals last for at least 1 year from the time you receive them. Most of our canned products last one year after opening and 25 years before opening—and we do it without adding preservatives! To learn more about shelf life, click here.
What’s the best way to cook your food?
Cooking with Thrive Life is easy! To start, purchase one of our Simple Plate meal for a step-by-step guide to whipping up chef-approved recipes. You can also Thrive-alize your own family favorites by swapping out store-bought items for Thrive Life products. Just follow the refresh instructions found on the product label. Because most of our products are pre-washed, pre-sliced, pre-cooked, they cut down your prep and cook time dramatically, so you might want to be thinking of what to do with the extra time you’ll have.
How does the delivery service work?
Your delivery service is composed to two parts: Simple Plate and Grocery Box. You receive Simple Plate meals and/or Thrive groceries shipped to your door on a recurring basis. Just select the plan that works best for your family, choose your delivery frequency, and customize your boxes before each delivery. You can skip any deliveries, easily change the frequency and number of items, or cancel at any time.
What does Groceries consist of?
Thrive life groceries include all of our individually packaged products, basically everything besides Simple Plate! You can swap out store bought groceries with Thrive products to use in your favorite recipes to help you cook faster, waste less, and have those essential pantry items available any time. Learn More.
What is Simple Plate?
Simple Plate is a recurring meal delivery service, and it solves the question, “What’s for dinner tonight?” Each meal comes with step-by-step instructions and all the ingredients you need to whip up super yummy meals created by our amazing culinary team, while staying on schedule. Most recipes can be made in 20 - 30 minutes. You can choose to open your box right away, or wait for a busy night. Your box will stay fresh for up to 1 year.
Can I order both Simple Plate and Groceries?
Yes! You’ll have the option to add both to your delivery service.
Exactly how long does Simple Plate stay fresh?
We recommend using your Simple Plate meal within 1 year of delivery. No refrigeration required.
Do you offer vegetarian or gluten free meal option?
Yes! We have a limited number of vegetarian and gluten free options, and will soon be adding more to the lineup.
What makes Simple Plate different than other meal delivery companies?

Can I just order Simple Plate once?
Yes! You will need to set up a Delivery Service account in order to do this, but you can cancel your subscription before a second shipment.
Can I just order one Simple plate meal?
No, Simple Plate comes with at least 3 meals in each delivery. If you’d like, you could add 3 of the same meal to your delivery, or you can order more than 3 if you really want to simplify more nights of the week.
Are Simple Plate boxes and pouches recyclable?
Yes! We like earth. It grows our food, and that's pretty cool. So after you're done whipping up your Simple Plate meal, go ahead and recycle the packaging. All of it. 100%. Mother Nature will thank you.
Can I use free and half off credit to purchase Simple Plate meals?
Yes, just search for "Simple Plate" or the name of the meal you wish to add to your order. Remember, Simple Plate meals will only show when you are using your benefits.
Can I order Groceries just one time?
Yes, you can order Thrive Life groceries and snacks through our one-time shopping cart. The delivery service can be used as well, but be sure to cancel your deliveries before your second if you only wish to have one delivery.
How long does it take to receive my box after the processing date?
Boxes usually ship between 1-3 business days after being processed. Actual shipping time will vary depending on destination.
Can I cancel my delivery service?
Yes! Regular customers can cancel or skip shipments at any time. If you’ve chosen to become a Preferred Customer or Consultant in order to receive added perks, you agree to three deliveries within 90 days, after which you may cancel at any time.
How do I manage my delivery service boxes?
You can manage both your Simple Plate and Thrive groceries on My Deliveries, the deliveries management page visible when you login to thrivelife.com. This is where you’ll go to manage your account, customize your boxes and skip deliveries.
Does Thrive Life do automatic deliveries?
Yes! The delivery service is a recurring delivery system. You have full control of these deliveries, including the products you receive and how often they come. You can also choose to shop one time for Thrive Life groceries on the Shop page.
How do I know when to customize my box for an upcoming delivery?
You can make changes all the way until midnight before the day it processes. We’ll also send you an email 5 days before your order ships to show you what’s in your delivery.
How many future deliveries can I customize at one time?
You can create as many future deliveries as you like by clicking “Add Delivery” in the date drop down menu at the top of the deliveries page, and you can customize these deliveries any time you like. You can adjust the dates of your deliveries in that same drop-down menu.
Can I order the products from my Simple Plate meal?
Yes! Nearly all the products you find in your Simple Plate meal can be purchased in bulk. The best way to get these products is by adding a Grocery Box to your recurring deliveries. You can also add items to a one-time order on the Shop page.
Can I get free shipping?
Yes! Free shipping is available to Preferred Customers and Consultants on Preferred items when you spend $100 or more in your delivery service. Learn More.
What is a Preferred Customer?
Preferred Customers are unique customers who have earned special perks! These include free shipping on Preferred Items when your recurring delivery is $100 or more, special monthly coupons, and first access to sales and new products.
What are Preferred items?
Preferred items are our most popular products and are eligible for free shipping to Consultants and Preferred Customers. Preferred Items are differentiated by the Preferred icon (a blue box), which you’ll find next to the item. Preferred items are eligible for free shipping when purchased through the delivery service and when an order is $100 or more.
How do I become a Preferred Customer?
There are two ways you can become a Preferred Customer: 1. Commit to at least three deliveries and earn a Preferred Customer membership for free. This can be done at any time. 2. Purchase a membership for a one-time $79.99 fee.
What is a Thrive Life Consultant?
We like to reward our food fanatics for sharing, but instead of giving them a measly coupon for spreading the word, we give them cold hard cash! What is expected of Thrive Life Consultants?
Thrive Life Consultants love two things: food and people, and when they share good food with good people they’ll be rewarded with cash. In order to qualify for a commission paycheck, Thrive Life Consultants are only required to purchase a one-time starter kit and have a personal delivery of at least $50 every month.
